ISLAMABAD: Alhuda International School organised its 4th Annual Day, themed “♯IslamInspiresMe” on Wednesday here with an extraordinary learning experience for everyone. The primary purpose of this event was to build love of Islam and foster future daa’is of Islam. .The theme aims to provide a platform for students to effectively experience and explore through active learning, the beauty and relevance of Islam in the current age.
Chief Guest of the event includes Mr. Baleegh-ur-Rahman, State Minister for Education, and Mr. Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf. Beside them the event was graced by other dignitaries such as Dr. Tariq Masood, Director of Federal Directorate of Education, Mr. Atif, KPK Education Minister educationists from twin cities, print and electronic media persons and the kinsfolk of the students. The program was spread over the day and was split into three shows of morning, afternoon and evening. The whole program was beautifully combined in Urdu, Arabic and English languages.
The uniqueness of the event was that each child participated. The event consist of different sub-themes such as ♯WhoDoIBelieve, ♯IslamWillRise, ♯FunInIslam, ♯BeLikeMuhammad, Student’s performances were an effort to leave our audience inspired, charged with Iman and leave with a mindset to make positive change in the world we live in, by becoming an inspiration for others.
In the first show Mr. Baleegh-ur-Rahman said that I am delighted to know that the purpose of the school is to disseminate education under the shade of Islam with an overall growth of a child and to integrate his academic excellence with the personality development. Further he said that I am pleased to know that AIS is earnestly devoted in setting new standards in education that will produce students of knowledge and virtue , whose hearts are filled with love and trust in Allah and who are skilled verbally , mentally and socially blessed with visionary leadership and highly dedicated team this is what is reflected through this program.
Minister of State for Federal Education Engr Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman said that the government was making efforts to make “Quranic Education” compulsory in all public schools throughout the country. He said that this process would be initiated after consulting all the provinces through the platform of Inter Provincial Education Minister’s Conference (IPEMC).
Minister of state said that “Nazra Quran” will be taught from class 1 to 5th and proper “Quranic Education” with translation will be taught to the students of class 6th to 10th in all public schools. These children, he said, are our national asset so “We should invest best of our resources to make them better educated human beings”.
He said that education and research both are necessary in our religion adding that “We should not just rely on the syllabus but also encourage our children to research and explore different subjects, fields and ideas”.
The education scenario, he said, is improving in Pakistan and added “We all need to work together to make it even better”. He admired the role played by the private schools in educating the young guns of Pakistan.

Last show was honored by Mr. Imran Khan. He appreciated and said that we are cognizant of the fact that a school should be a mirror of the child’s personality wherein education should constitute the inner beauty. He also congratulated all the teachers and the Management who put in a lot of effort in the grooming of their students. He wished them luck to build up stronger Pakistan as a strong hold of Muslim Umah.
The Director of the school Mr. Atif Iqbal thanked all the teachers and students. He gave shields to the respected chief guests as a token of remembrance. Each show concluded with dua. Staff Report
