Kashmir freedom struggle to continue against all odds

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik has reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue liberation struggle despite the ongoing oppression and suppression unleashed by Indian army and police.

According to KMS, Malik, who is in illegal custody at Kothibagh Police Station since April 10, in a statement issued in Held Srinagar said that the cold-blooded murder of civilians at Kupwara and Handwara and attitude of pro-India Kashmiri politicians had once again exposed the real face of India and its local collaborators.

“It is once again clear that hypocritical politics in Kashmir is only to safeguard the killer forces whether they are from police or Indian army.

Probes are meant only to give time to killers so that they get ready for more killing,” he said.

“Shedding crocodile tears on those killed in cold blood by trigger happy soldiers and putting sacrifices of these innocents on sale is an old poly of hypocritical politics,” he said while criticizing the pro-India politicians’ visits to the bereaved families.

He said puppet rulers are now meeting families of martyrs after putting whole Kashmir under curfew. “For their visit whole Kashmir is turned into a jail but on the other hand freedom leaders have been put behind the bars and stopped from even expressing sympathies with the bereaved families and this is done in the name of democracy,” Malik said.

He said that these pro-India politicians lack courage that is why they put their political opponents in jails and police stations and fear fighting them at political front. People of Kashmir will never surrender before oppression, suppression and hypocritical politics and our struggle for freedom will continue at every cost, Malik asserted.

While paying rich tributes to Handwara martyrs JKLF chief said that these great martyrs have sacrificed their lives for truth. APP
