Addressing at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), he said although Bosnia was a small market with population of only 4 million yet it could provide direct access to the entire European community as they were expecting membership of European Union soon.

He said Bosnia Herzegovina was the only Muslim majority country of Europe with GDP of 5300 dollars per annum.

He said people have sufficient purchasing power, therefore, there was huge scope for investment as well as exports to the country.

He said Pakistani products were available in his country but were routed through other countries. He urged the Pakistani exporters to step forward and start direct export to this new and emerging market.

The envoy said Bosnia was importing defense products in addition to leather goods and surgical items from Pakistan. He said there were no business related restrictions. Hence, Pakistani businessmen should participate in the business forum to explore emerging opportunities in this part of the world.
